Creative Community Based Projects

Using creativity to support mental health and wellbeing in community settings

About these projects

Creativity is a fundamental part of being human and plays an important role in health and wellbeing.

Within occupational therapy, creative activity has long been used to support individuals in expressing themselves, processing experience, and engaging more fully in daily life.

These projects aim to bring together creativity and mental health in a practical, accessible way—supporting individuals and communities to improve wellbeing, build connection, and engage in meaningful activity.

Offerings may include in person or online workshops or a series of group sessions, often developed as part of collaborative projects with organisations and community partners.

Current projects will be listed here as they are developed.

If you are an organisation or individual interested in collaboration, you’re welcome to get in touch to discuss possibilities.
